The Lions celebrated their 113th anniversary today.
Galatasaray turned 113 on this very day, October 1. The club was founded on this day in 1905 by Ali Sami Yen and his friends, making it one of the oldest clubs in Turkey.
On this special day, former Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini and French star Franck Ribery took to Twitter to wish the club a happy birthday.
The two have fond memories of their time with Galatasaray and it seems the club has a special place in their hearts.
