Pepe files complaint with TFF against BJK

Besiktas owe Pepe wages, player files complaint

Portuguese international Pepe has not been paid his wages by Besiktas.

Besiktas defender Pepe has filed a complained with the Turkish Football Federation’s Dispute Resolution Committee over unpaid wages.

His lawyer in Turkey, Burcin Barlas, revealed the matter to Turkish sports news outlet A Spor on Friday evening.

In a lengthy phone call with the platform’s anchors, his lawyer alluded to the incident without revealing specifics such as how much the club owes the Portuguese star.

“I can’t say how much he is still owed,” Barlas said citing lawyer-client confidentiality laws.

The 35-year-old former Real Madrid defender’s contract expires at the end of the season.
