Ryan Babel injured out for 2 weeks

The Black Eagles will have to make do without their Dutch winger Babel.

Besiktas winger Ryan Babel has been ruled out for at least 2 weeks after the player suffered a microtear and hemorrhage in his right hamstring muscle.

The Dutch international picked up the unfortunate injury while on international duty with the Netherlands as they took on Germany this week.

The Turkish club posted a statement on their official website confirming the injury.

The 31-year-old, who will turn 32 next month, is in the final year of his contract with the Turkish club and there’s much speculation in Turkish media about his future with the Black Eagles.
