Fenerbahce to sign 2 defenders and a midfielder

The Yellow Canaries will sign at least three more players, according to the club’s president Ali Koc.

Fenerbahce president Ali Koc revealed the club’s transfer plans for the remainder of the transfer window while speaking at an event in Istanbul where 20 lucky winners of their recent fund-raising campaign called “Win, Win” received keys to their brand new automobiles.

According to Koc, the club will sign two defenders and a “number 6”, referring to a central midfielder position.

“We will sign two defenders and a number six. Our weak areas are obvious. We will continue to work on transfers until the final day of the window. Some of our players can play in multiple positions,” Koc told the gathered crowd.

The wealthy businessman remained tight-lipped when asked about veteran goalkeeper Volkan Demirel, who is expected to leave the club, and Serbian full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, who the club is reported to have struck a deal with.
