Fenerbahce sign Luiz Gustavo on four-year deal

The Yellow Canaries have struck a deal with Olympique Marseille for defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo.

Fenerbahce’s lengthy negotiations with Olympique Marseille to sign Luiz Gustavo have come to a positive end. The Turkish club have agreed terms with the Brazilian who will become the club’s big-name signing of the summer.

The 32-year-old arrived in Istanbul on Sunday and will put pen to paper on a four-year deal on Monday after passing a medical exam. Fenerbahce will pay Olympique Marseille a transfer fee of €6 million for the player.

Gustavo will wear the number 29 jersey during the 2019-2020 season.
