Ozan Tufan signs contract extension with Fener

The Turkish midfielder has extended his stay with the Yellow Canaries until the 2023/2024 season.

Fenerbahce have extended the contract of midfielder Ozan Tufan, the club announced on their social media accounts on Friday.

The 24-year-old Turkey international has inked a three-year contract with the Istanbul club. The deal also includes an optional one-year extension if certain criteria are met.

Tufan has made 114 appearances for Fenerbahce during which he has managed to score 11 goals and provide 11 assists.

The player said he was happy to play for Fenerbahce and is now fully focused on the title race.

The central midfielder also said he will do his best for the club in order to help them achieve success.

Despite his struggles with his weight in recent years, Tufan has managed to solidify his place in the first team at Fenerbahce, having made 16 league outings this season during which he scored 2 goals.
