Stoke sign Badou Ndiaye from Galatasaray

Stoke City have splashed the cash on Badou Ndiaye.

Badou Ndiaye has officially been sold by Galatasaray.

The 27-year-old has signed a long term deal with Stoke City, who have made the midfielder their second most expensive signing of all time. Galatasaray have been paid €16 million for the player, their most expensive outbound transfer in the club’s history.

The transfer deal includes a future percentage clause, which states if Stoke City sell the player in the future, 15% of the transfer fee will be given to Galatasaray.

The Senegal international has been pushing for a transfer all January as interest in the player had been heating up.

Ndiaye had moved to Galatasaray from Osmanlispor last summer for €7.5 million and made 17 league appearances for Cim Bom.

He will also be in need of a work permit as he does not meet the requirements for an automatic qualification since he has played less than 60% of his country’s national fixtures over the last two years.
