Eboue back in Istanbul

Emmanuel Eboue spotted in Istanbul with friends as he attempts to get his life back on track.

Former Galatasaray player Eboue was seen in Istanbul with some of the club’s staff (Hasan Sas & Umit Davala) having a meal as he looks to sort out his life after making public his severe financial difficulties.

The Ivorian right-back was pushed to the brink of suicide and had made a public plea for help to anyone who would be willing to extend a helping hand. He claimed his wife had manipulated him and took all of his money including some of his personal belongings.

Emmanuel was a Galatasaray player from 2011 until 2014 and enjoyed great rapport with the club’s supporters. So much so that after hearing of his difficulties, fans began a #yourenotaloneeboue trend on social media.

It has been reported Galatasaray are willing to offer him a coaching role with the U14 team however nothing has been confirmed yet.
