Trabzonspor’s Esteban out for 2 months

Costa Rican Esteban Alvarado’s season has come to an end with his latest injury.

Trabzonspor’s goalkeeper Esteban Alvarado is out for the rest of the season according to the latest reports from Trabzon.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper broke one of his toes in his right foot during a training session earlier this week and left for his home country where has been operated on to fix the fracture. The player is expected to be out for at least 2 months as he recovers and is not expected to play for Trabzonspor again this season.

In his absence, Arda Akbulut and Ugurcan Cakir will provide cover for Trabzonspor’s main goalkeeper Onur Kivrak.

The 28-year-old’s contract runs until 2019.
