Karabukspor missing 4 players for next match

Last-placed Karabukspor just can’t catch a break it seems as 4 of their first-team players are unavailable for their next Super Lig fixture due to injury.

Kardemir Karabukspor carried out their preparatory training session today for their upcoming match against Malatyaspor this coming Sunday.

The training started under the management of Levent Acikgoz as the manager instructed his players to begin a warm-up run. The two-hour long training session finished with a half-field skirmish. Missing from training due to injury were Hamidou Traore, Murat Akin, Herve Kage and Marius Alexe. All four are under the care of the club’s medical staff. Osman Celik on the other hand was training alone carrying out recovery exercises.

The small club have won just three of their Turkish Super Lig matches this season and are stuck at the bottom of the table with 12 points after 22 rounds of matches. Having scored 15 goals and conceded 44, the club are the worst performing team this season. With 12 league matches left of the season, their fate of relegation to the 1.Lig is imminent.
