Bursaspor fans protest after 5-0 loss

Bursaspor lost 5-0 tonight at the hands of Galatasaray and their fans have made it clear they are not happy.

Following Bursaspor’s 5-0 away loss in Istanbul tonight, over 1000 passionate Bursaspor fans have gathered in front of the club’s Ozluce facilities in Bursa to demand the resignation of the current manager, Paul Le Guen.

The Crocodiles have been doing poorly this season and have lost 9 of their last Super Lig matches. They are still looking for a win in the league this year. Tonight’s results seems to have been the final straw as the group have had enough of the bad results of the past 3 months.

The team bus, being alerted of the protest prior to arriving from Istanbul, entered their facilities complex from a different area to avoid the group.  Security forces and police were called to supervise the group in case of escalated tensions. There were minor clashes between the protesters and and police however no injuries or arrests have occurred.
