Galatasaray interested in signing Trezeguet

Galatasaray are looking at Kasimpasa’s Trezeguet to replace Garry Rodrigues as the latter has been linked with a big money move away from Cim Bom.

With Garry Rodrigues set to leave at the end of the campagain, Galatasaray have began assessing potential replacements and one of those is Trezeguet, currently on loan at Kasimpasa from Anderlecht.

Trezeguet, who’s real name is Mahmoud Hassan, has been impressive for Kasimpasa this season and has reportedly convinced Fatih Terim to sign him with his performance when the two clubs met. Kasimpasa won the match 2-1 a few weeks ago. Kasimpasa have a €2.5 million purchase option to make the transfer permanent however they have decided against doing so in order to reduce their spending.

The 23-year-old Egyptian has scored 11 goals and made 4 assists in 23 appearances for Kasimpasa so far this campaign.

Galatasaray have contacted Anderlecht and have begun transfer negotations according to Turkish sports news outlet Fotomac.
