Eskisehirspor appoint new manager

Spor Toto 1.Lig side Eskisehirspor have agreed a deal with Yilmaz Vural to take over duties of the club’s first team after parting ways with their previous manager.

1.Lig team Eskisehirspor have announced Yilmaz Vural as the new manager in charge of the first team.

Yilmaz Vural has been appointed as Eskisehirspor’s new manager today, the club’s sporting director Izzet Erdogan announced on his social media account.

The club parted ways with their previous manager, Yucel Ildiz, due to bad results and will be hoping their new man, Vural, will be able to turn things around quickly.

Eskisehirspor have been poor this season in the Spor Toto 1.Lig and are currently in 16th place with 31 points, battling relegation. With just five matches left in the season, it will take a miracle for them remain in Turkey’s second division and avoid moving further down the football pyramid.

Es-Es, as they are more commonly known, have won just nine times this campaign.
