Belhanda scores fastest goal this season

Galatasaray’s Younes Belhanda put his team ahead against Malatyaspor tonight after just 30 seconds.

Younes Belhanda made history tonight when he scored the fastest goal of the 20117/2018 season.

Galatasaray defeated Malatyaspor 2-0 at home today however the talk of the night was Belhanda’s opening goal which came after just 30 seconds on the clock.

Winger Garry Rodrigues intercepted a Malatyaspor pass which allowed him to run deep into the opposition half where he crossed the ball inside the Malatyaspor penalty box for Belhanda, who tapped it into an open goal.

The crowd erupted into celebrations once the home team took the lead.

Bafetimbi Gomis doubled the score in the 12th minute with another close-range goal.

Tonight’s win means Galatasaray occupy first place with 72 points and have just one game remaining.

Their final game is away against Goztepe where they need just a point to be crowned Turkish Super Lig champions.
