Al-Gharafa part ways with Bulent Uygun

Qatari club Al-Gharafa have parted ways with Turkish manager Bulent Uygun.

Qatari football club Al-Gharafa have decided not to continue with Bulent Uygun in charge as they have let him ago at the end of his six-month contract.

The Turkish manager signed on for a short-term deal on January 1 2018 however the club’s hierarchy have decided against renewing his contract.

The 46-year-old led the club to a 4th place finish in the league and to the semi-final of the Emir Cup this season.

They have appointed French manager Christian Gourcuff as his replacement.

Uygun posted a farewell message on his social media account making the announcement and thanking the club.
