Galatasaray should sign Nagatomo – former Japan boss

Vahid Halilhodzic, former Japan and Trabzonspor manager, urged Galatasaray to sign Yuto Nagatomo.

Former Japan manager Vahid Halilhodzic had nothing but praise for Japanese star Yuto Nagatomo and urged Galatasaray to sign the full-back on a permanent deal.

Nagatomo is currently on loan at the Turkish club from Italian outfit Inter.

“Galatasaray are lucky to have a player like him and they shouldn’t miss the opportunity to sign him. Nagatomo would bring them something more and has a quality that is lacking in Turkish football; professionalism. It did not surprise me that he adapted immediately to the environment given that he played a long time for Inter. His experience would be important for Galatasaray as they participate in the Champions League.He is a true professional, a great character both on and off the pitch.” the former Japan boss said about the player.

Galatasaray are currently in negotiations with Italian side Inter regarding Yuto Nagatomo however they can not agree on a transfer fee.
