Trabzonspor in transfer talks with Caen defender

The Black Sea Storm have offered a contract to Caen defender Damien Da Silva.

Trabzonspor are conducting transfer talks with French club Caen’s center-back Damien Da Silva.

The 30-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of the month, is reported to be courted by the Turkish club who are after his signature.

The Super Lig club have offered Da Silva a three-year contract with a salary of €700,000 per year.

The player’s representatives have already had face-to-face discussions with Trabzonspor’s management and a deal is said to have been reached although neither side have confirmed the deal.

The news is widely reported in Turkish media and an announcement could be made within days.

The Northern Turkish club recently sold Okay Yokuslu to Spanish outfit Celta Vigo for €6 million.
