Fenerbahce’s Josef de Souza reveals miscarriage

Fener’s Brazilian midfielder de Souza revealed the unfortunate news to his fans today.

Josef de Souza shared some sad news with his fans today via his social media account. He revealed his wife Denielle had suffered a miscarriage.

“I would like to inform my friends and supporters who have been by our side throughout the process, Dani had a miscarriage but I believe God always wants the best for us. With His blessing, one day we will have a baby. Thank you to everyone. I would also like to thank Dr. Birgul Karakoc for taking care of my wife during this difficult period,” the midfielder’s message read.

The Yellow Canaries responded with a supportive message shortly after the player shares his sad news.

“We are deeply saddened to learn that Josef de Souza and his wife Danielle have lost their baby they were expecting. We send our condolences and wish Danielle a speedy recovery,” the club said in a public statement.

Josef made it clear he would not take time off from the team’s training camp and will continue working with the team.
