Galatasaray offer to loan AC Milan’s Andre Silva

The Lions have made an move to sign the Portuguese striker.

AC Milan’s sporting director Massimo Mirabelli spoke to Italian press earlier today to address several issues and speculations involving the Serie A club. One of those topics was their striker Andre Silva’s future.

Mirabelli confirmed there were offers from English club Wolverhampton Wanderers and Galatasaray to sign the young striker on a season-long loan.

“Andre is on the transfer list. However, we would like to remind you that Milan paid €38 million for him. We invested a lot in Andre. We won’t give him up easily. Of course every player can be sold. Gattuso will try to get the most out of him but if it’s not possible, we would like him to play at a high-level club. It’s true, there were talks. There were offers from Wolves and Galatasaray. We asked them to wait,” he explained.

Silva, who joined AC Milan last season for €38 million, managed to score 10 goals in 40 appearances for his team during the previous season however he finds himself transfer listed.
