Trabzonspor to sign Zargo Toure from Lorient

The Black Sea Storm have reached an agreement with Toure, the club’s president revealed today.

Earlier this evening, Trabzonspor’s president Ahmet Agaoglu announced that the club have reached an agreement with FC Lorient defender Zargo Toure. The announcement was made during the club’s 51 year anniversary celebrations in Trabzon.

The 28-year-old defender, who is also capable of playing as a midfielder, will join Trabzonspor shortly.

The Senegal international will travel from Istanbul to Trabzon this evening at 12:10AM (July 30th).

“When he comes, we will all see him. I don’t want to talk about it until the player arrives in Trabzon and signs the contract. Zargo Toure is coming tonight. There will be one more transfer in one week. There could be more later on,” he explained to reporters.

Zargo has been with FC Lorient for the past three seasons and is capable of playing as a right-back and a libero. He has spent almost his entire career in France since moving to the European nation from his native Senegal in July 2008.
