Istanbul Basaksehir to face Burnley in Europa League

The Super Lig club will line up against the English outfit in the third round.

Istanbul Basaksehir will have to get by Burnley in the third qualifying round of the Europa League if they are to advance to the next stage.

The English club defeated Scotland’s Aberdeen 4-2 on aggregate on Thursday evening.

The Super Lig side congratulated their opponent’s on their victory with a message on their official Twitter account.

Basaksehir will play the first leg of the tie at home on August 9th with the second leg scheduled for August 16th.

They will be playing on the same night as Besiktas, who are drawn against Austria’s LASK Linz in the same round.
