Konyaspor sign Fallou Diagne from Werder Bremen

The Anatolian club have announced the transfer of defender Fallou Diagne from the German outfit.

Konyaspor have signed Fallou Diagne from Bundesliga club Werder Bremen on a free transfer, the club announced on their social media accounts.

The 28-year-old defender has penned a two-year contract with an optional one year extension.

The Senegal international had a contract with the German club until 2020 prior to his move.

Speaking during the press conference, he said;

“I am very ambitious. I want to prove myself once more in Konyaspor. I can not wait to show myself to your supporters. I’m happy to be in Konya and in Turkey. I saw the stadium a short while ago and I was impressed. I’m certain we will achieve success in this stadium. I send my greetings to the fans.”
