Bursaspor suffer low shirt sales

The Green Crocodiles have reported an incredibly low number of merchandise sold.

Bursaspor fans aren’t very keen on their club’s newest transfer signings, according to the figures of shirts sold reported by the club. The team’s passionate fans usually flock to buy almost any form of merchandise the club sells but this summer has proved to be different.

The Super Lig outfit have parted ways with several of their big-name players, including fan favourite and club legend Pablo Batalla, and have so far failed to sign a well-known player, as usual.

The club’s new uniforms for the 2018/2019 season of the Turkish Super Lig have been on sale for 135 Turkish Lira for over two weeks, however, the club have managed to sell just 1,450 shirts thus far.

As the revenue from merchandise sold is vital for Turkish clubs’ finances, this could be concerning news for the club’s hierarchy.
