ex-Fenerbahce star Stephen Appiah sends message to fans

Former Ghana international Stephen Appiah has sent Fenerbahce and its fans a message of support.

Stephen Appiah, one of Ghana’s best players during his days as a professional, has taken to social media to send a message of support to his former club and wish them a succesful new season.

In a short clip shared with Fenerbahce’s TV channel, FBTV, he shared the following message;

“Hi, my name is Stephen Appiah. It is always a pleasure talking about this great club, Fenerbahce. First and foremost, let me say congratulations to the new president Ali Koc. And also, welcome to the new players to this wonderful club. I hope this season is going to bring back the glory days of the club. I will take this opportunity to wish the team good luck and I pray the fans will enjoy every game because that’s the only way the team can pay them back. Yeniden Fenerbahce!”

The former midfielder spent three years with the Yellow Canaries, from 2005 until 2008, where he became a fan favourite with this consistent performances and contributions to the team.
