Bursaspor sell Troost-Ekong to Udinese for €3.3m

The Green Crocodiles have sold the Nigerian defender to the Italian outfit.

Bursaspor have reached an agreement with Italian club Udinese for their defender William Troost-Ekong.

The Italian club will pay Bursaspor €3.3 million for the player’s transfer.

The Nigerian international moved to Bursaspor for €1 million in July 2017 from Belgian club Gent, and quickly established himself as one of the club’s key players.

Ekong made 32 appearances and scored 2 goals during his time with Bursaspor. Though born in the Haarlem, the Netherlands, he has made 24 appearances for Nigeria, making his debut on the international stage in 2015.
