Seydou Doumbia to arrive in Bursa for talks

The Ivory Coast international will travel to Bursa this week to finalize his transfer.

Bursaspor boss Samet Aybaba has confirmed the imminent transfer of Seydou Doumbia from Sporting CP.

The 30-year-old striker will fly to Bursa on Tuesday to meet with the club’s officials and sign a contract with Bursaspor.

The Ivory Coast star is currently with Portuguese outfit Sporting CP, however, he has had a rough time since joining the club in January 2018.

The Turkish club are reported to have agreed to take Doumbia off of Sporting’s hands, without paying a transfer fee.

They’ve also signed Henri Saivet on a season-long loan last week, from English club Newcastle United.
