Michael Frey joins Fenerbahce from FC Zurich

The Turkish club have announced the latest signing on their official website just moments ago.

Fenerbahce have completed the transfer of Swiss striker Michael Frey from FC Zurich.

The 24-year-old will put pen to paper on a four-year-deal with the Super Lig club as soon as he passes his mandatory medical exam this afternoon.

The statement released by Fenerbahce reads as follows;

“Our club has reached an agreement with FC Zurich to sign 24-year-old Swiss centre-forward Michael Frey.

The player will sign a 4-year contract after passing his health check in Istanbul.”

The transfer fee is reported to be around €3 million.

Frey was FC Zurich’s top scorer last season with 12 goals in the domestic league and 4 in the Swiss Cup.
