Galatasaray loan Badou Ndiaye from Stoke City

The Lions will reunite with their former midfielder once again.

Galatasaray have announced that they have begun negotiations with Stoke City for the transfer of midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

The statement released by the club read as follows;

“Official negotiations have started with Stoke City for the loan transfer of professional footballer Papa Alioune Ndiaye.”

The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray in August 2017 from Osmanlispor, however, he was sold to English club Stoke City less then 6 months after his arrival, in January 2018, for €16 million.

However, due to Stoke City’s relegation from England’s top flight last season, the Senegal international has forced a move away as he would prefer to play top tier football.

He will spend the 2018/2019 season with the Istanbul club, who will pay Stoke City €1 million for the loan.

This will be his second stint with Galatasaray, where he is highly regarded by Fatih Terim.
