UCL draw: Galatasaray in tricky Group D

The Lions have been paired with some tricky opposition in the group stages.

The draw for the group stages of the 2018/2019 Champions League took place in Monaco today. Turkey’s only representative, Galatasaray, were drawn in Group D with Russia’s Lokomotiv Moscow, Portugal’s FC Porto and Germany’s Schalke.

The group stages begin on September 18, with the final group games set to be played on December 12, 2018.

The groups are;

Group A: Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, Club Brugge

Group B: Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven, Internazionale Milano

Group C: Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli, Liverpool, Crvena Zvezda

Group D: Lokomotiv Moscow, Porto, Schalke, Galatasaray

Group E: Bayern München, Benfica, Ajax, AEK Athens

Group F: Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon, Hoffenheim

Group G: Real Madrid, Roma, CSKA Moskva, Viktoria Plzen

Group H: Juventus, Manchester United, Valencia, Young Boys
