Fenerbahce omit 2 players from squad list

The future of Ozan Tufan and Carlos Kameni remains away from Ulker Stadium.

Fenerbahce have submitted their final 28-player list to the Turkish Football Federation for the 2018/2019 season of the Turkish Super Lig.

The two names that have not made the cut were midfielder Ozan Tufan and goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.

The club’s manager Phillip Cocu has made it clear he has no intention of utilizing Tufan in his tactical setup this season, demoting him to the Under-21 side last month. Meanwhile, the club are hoping to sell Carlos Kameni to a club in the Middle East.

The club’s final list of players for the new season is below.

Andrew Ayew, Islam Slimani, Michael Frey, Diego Reyes, Jailson,
Yassine Benzia, Mehmet Topal, Ismail Koybasi, Sener Ozbayrakli, Erten Ersu, Yigithan Guveli, Hasan Ali Kaldirim, Mehmet Ekici, Oguz Guctekin, Volkan Demirel, Alper Potuk, Harun Tekin, Baris Alici, Mahsun Capkan, Tolga Cigerci, Aatif Chahechouhe, Martin Skrtel, Roman Neustaedter, Mathieu Valbuena, Nabil Dirar, Mauricio Isla, Roberto Soldado, Eljif Elmas
