Bulent Uygun returns to Qatar, signs with Al Ahli

The experienced coach has found a job in the Qatar Stars League once again.

Turkish coach Bulent Uygun has accepted an offer to take the helm at Qatari club Al-Ahli SC.

The 47-year-old was last in charge of Al-Gharafa, from December 2017 until the end of the season May 2018. During his time with the club, where former Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder plays his football, he guided the team to a 4th place finish with just 2 losses in 17 games.

Uygun is reported to have agreed to a one-and-a-half year contract with Al-Ahli, where he will be coaching the likes of former Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza.
