Antalyaspor hold president election

The Super Lig club will continue with current president Ali Safak Ozturk after he was unanimously re-elected for another term.

Antalyaspor held their president elections at the club’s Atilla Vehbi Konuk facilities today where board of directors voted in the club’s presidential elections.

After the vote count finished, current president Ali Safak Ozturk’s re-election was confirmed for another three years to be in charge of the resort town club.

Vice president Bora Terzioglu spoke on behalf of Ozturk, who was not present due to a Club Association meeting held in Istanbul on the same day.

“As a management, we are open to criticism but we expect this criticism to be on a level that will contribute to the future of Antalyaspor. We believe that it should be constructive rather than destructive,” he said.

He also emphasized the need to work on advertising and sponsorship.

“We have a big deficiency in advertising and sponsorship. We still don’t have any advertisement on our uniform. This is something we need to work on.”
