Martin Linnes wants a new deal

Norwegian full-back Martin Linnnes is happy to continue with Galatasaray.

Galatasaray full-back Martin Linnes spoke to the press in his homeland ahead of Norway’s UEFA Nations League fixtures this week.

When asked about his career with Galatasaray, he said;

“My contract ends this season. It’s normal for there to be rumours. I have a good rapport with the club and I think they want to continue with me. The fact that the club want’s me to stay, it makes me very happy. We’ll see what happens in the near future.”

He went on to explain his intentions.

“The club expressed that they want me to sign a new contract. It’s a great feeling to be wanted. Galatasaray is an important part of my career. I’m also wondering how things will pan out.”

“I want to show what I can do. To be honest, my two seasons with Galatasaray went well. I’m happy.”

Martin revealed that he had not received offers from other clubs.

“I haven’t received offers from other clubs. I’m playing for Turkey’s biggest club and a Champions League club. We’ll see at the end of the season.”
