Galatasaray bid to loan Benfica’s Seferovic

The Lions have made a bid to take the Swiss striker on loan until the end of the season.

Galatasaray continue their search for a striker and the latest player they have been linked with is Benfica forward Haris Seferovic.

According to reports from Portugal, The Lions have tabled an offer to take the player on a six-month loan with the option to buy at the end of the season.

However, Benfica have rejected their initial offer, hoping to off-load the player with a permanent transfer. The transfer fee they are looking for is reported to be around the €4 million mark.

This isn’t the first time the Super Lig giants have been linked with the Swiss international. During the summer of 2018, Fatih Terim had asked the club’s management to sign Seferovic but, ultimately, a move did not materialize.

The 26-year-old has scored 10 goals and made 4 assists in the 39 appearances he has made for Benfica so far.
