Galatasaray want Monaco’s Falcao – agent

The Lions are hoping to convince the Colombian star to make the move to Istanbul.

AS Monaco striker Falcao is reported to be unsettled at the struggling club and is looking for a way out. Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has kept his eye on the Colombian since the summer and is hoping Galatasaray’s position in the league will work in their favour as they try to sign the player this winter.

Terim has told the club’s administration he wants at least two strikers before the second half of the season resumes and Falcao is one of them.

The Super Lig champions tried to sign the Colombian striker this past summer but were unsuccessful in their pursuit.

But now, with Monaco struggling as they find themselves in 19th place with just one win after 13 games, the Turkish club feel they have a good shot at getting the player to join them on loan deal until the end of the current season.

Turkish agent Fatih Ilek, who is close to Galatasaray’s administration, revealed the club’s interest to a Turkish radio station.
