Galatasaray tracking Standard’s Renaud Emond

The Lions have sent scouts to watch the player as they prepare for a busy winter transfer period.

Galatasaray have added another name to their transfer target list for the upcoming transfer window. According to reports in Turkey, the club have set eyes on Standard Liege’s striker Renaud Emond.

The Turkish champions have sent one of their scouts, Johan Elmander, to watch and asses the Belgian striker’s performances.

Elmander, who played as a striker for Galatasaray during his playing days, has been tasked with preparing reports of potential strikers as the club seeks to reinforce their squad next month.

He has already watched the 26-year-old live in action multiple times, including during a domestic game against Club Brugge and during his team’s European duel against Krasnodar.

In 25 competitive fixtures, the Belgian talent has found the back of the net 8 times so far this season.
