Calhanoglu wants to play for Galatasaray

AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has professed his love for Galatasaray and says he hopes to play for Cim Bom one day.

Turkey international Hakan Calhanoglu revealed he is a supporter of Super Lig champions Galatasaray in a interview with TRT Spor.

While the 24-year-old said he is happy with his current situation at Milan, he wouldn’t rule out a move to The Lions in the future.

“I feel very good in Milan. I don’t want to leave. But in the future, I want to play in Turkey. I said that to my wife and my family. I talk with Fatih Terim sometimes. I’ve been a Galatasaray fan since I was little. I want to play at Galatasaray. But I feel very good in Italy. Anything can happen in football. AT the moment, I don’t think I’m going anywhere,” the talented midfielder explained.

After the remarks, the German-born star went on to give his thoughts on the Super Lig.

“The Super Lig has improved a lot. The stadiums are amazing. First of all, teams like Malatyaspor are outperforming. This is great because it shows there is quality. The Big Three may have ups and downs. I think Fenerbahce will bounce back. They have several new players. My heart hopes for Galatasaray to be champions. I hope they will be. Basaksehir and Abdullah Avci are doing well, also,” he added.
