Trabzonspor ace Omur open to Liverpool transfer

The Turkish talent has addressed reports linking him with a move to the English clubb.

Trabzonspor’s promising midfielder Abdulkadir Omur spoke to reporters during a press conference in Antalya on Sunday during which he addressed the reports linking him with a move to Liverpool.

Stating that his goal is to eventually play in Europe, he said;

“I want to achieve some success here. Without success here, I’m not in a situation where I can go to Europe. My dream is to succeed here and then go to Europe,” he explained.

When asked whether he received an offer from Liverpool, he said;

“Liverpool is a very important club. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. If our club gives permission, talks can take place. If they say ‘go’, then I will go, if they say ‘stay’ then I will stay. This year, we are doing well, we are in the title race. We have a critical game against Basaksehir.”

Reports have surfaced claiming Trabzonspor have received a high-figure bid for the young midfielder from Liverpool although the Turkish club are yet to confirm the claims.
