Mario Balotelli in Istanbul for Galatasaray talks

The Italian star is conducting transfer talks with The Lions.

Galatasaray are in advanced talks with Italian star Mario Balotelli regarding a potential move to Turk Telekom Stadium. The 28-year-old was spotted at the airport in Istanbul late last night and his photos have gone viral in Turkey within hours of publication.

The striker was picked up at the airport yesterday evening and was taken to a hotel in Maslak, one of Istanbul’s business districts, where he met with Galatasaray officials to discuss a transfer to the Turkish giants.

The talks are reported to have been “positive” and an announcement could be made within days, according to reports.

Balotelli shared an icon of a lion on his Instagram page, further adding to the speculation of an imminent transfer to Galatasaray. At least according to the Cim Bom faithful.

The Italian international is in the final six months of his deal with OGC Nice and is rumoured to be looking to leave the club due to being unsettled.
