Fenerbahce defender Ciftpinar out for 10 days

The Yellow Canaries will be without one of their newest signings, Sadik Ciftpinar, after the player picked up an injury on Friday.

Fenerbahce centre-back Sadik Ciftpinar has been ruled out of action for approximately 10 days by the club’s medical staff.

The club signed the Turkish defender from Super Lig outfit Malatyaspor in January with hopes of strengthening their aging defense.

Ciftpinar picked up an injury during Fenerbahce’s Super Lig duel with Goztepe on Friday February 1 and was unable to finish the game.

After extensive tests including an MRI, the club’s medical team have revealed the player will be on the sidelines for approximately 10 days as he recovers.
