Istanbul Basaksehir lead the title race

The club earned a vital three points on Monday evening in their away game against Antalyaspor which solidified their lead in the title race.

Istanbul Basaksehir picked up a victory against Antalyaspor on Monday evening in a hard-fought duel which produced just one goal. The 1-0 victory came thanks to their Russian full-back Fyodor Kudryashov who scored in the 33rd minute.

Their latest victory gives them a little bit of breathing room with 48 points as they lead the title race with 6 points between them and second-placed Galatasaray who are with 42 points.

The Lions came back from a goal down to win 4-1 in the local derby against Kasimpasa while Fenerbahce continued to struggle, drawing 1-1 with Konyaspor this past weekend on Saturday.

Basaksehir continue to march towards their first ever league title but will have to hold on for the remaining 12 games of the season.
