Trabzonspor pay off 30 million TL in transfer fees

The Black Sea Storm have paid off some of the remaining transfer fee instalments the club owed from previous transfers.

Trabzonspor have paid 30 million Turkish Lira (TL) in transfer fee instalments as part of the agreements the club had in place when signing Jose Sosa, Filip Novak, Burak Yilmaz and Juraj Kucka.

Club official Ertugrul Dogan, the deputy in charge of the club’s financial department, revealed the payments during an interview with Anadolu Agency on Thursday.

“We paid 30 million lira in transfer fee instalments to the former clubs of Sosa, Burak, Kucka and Novak, who were signed under the previous administration,” he explained.

Trabzonspor have paid off their transfer fee obligations for former striker Burak Yilmaz and Filip Novak, however, they will have to make another payment before the end of the current season for Jose Sosa and Juraj Kucka’s transfers, Dogan explained.
