Turkish defender Ozan Kabak sets Bundesliga record

The Turkish centre-back made history on Sunday when he scored a brace during Stuttgart’s 5-1 win against Hannover 96.

VfB Stuttgart’s promising defender Ozan Kabak added his name to the Bundesliga record books on Sunday March 3 when he scored his first two goals for his new club.

The Galatasaray youth academy product first found the back of the net in the 16th minute with a header from a corner kick and just before the break, at the 45th minute, scored his second through another corner kick.

The talented Turk, who signed for the German outfit in January for €11 million, becomes the youngest defender, at 18 years and 343 days of age, to score two goals in a Bundesliga game.
