Fenerbahce to announce 3-4 transfers within 10 days

The Istanbul club’s president, Ali Koc, says the club will announce three or four new transfers within ten days.

With the Turkish summer transfer window open, Super Lig clubs are under pressure from their fans to bring in new and exciting transfers before the start of the new season. Knowing this, Fenerbahce president Ali KOc has revealed his administration will announce 3 or 4 transfers within 10 days.

Speaking to fans during a broadcast on FBTV over the weekend, Koc also reminded the public of the financial woes the club are facing.

“Financially, there is no light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. We need to periods to reach our objectives. Fenerbahce are currently on the right path. People don’t really know what we are facing. We saw how bad it was last season. It saddens me that people cannot comprehend how serious the situation is. I hope we will get through these bad days together,” the club’s president said.

The wealthy businessman also promised fans the club will be Super Lig champions in the upcoming season.

“We will be champions next season. Other teams will also compete but they will determine their ranking among themselves because we will be champions,” he promised the club’s fans.

Fenerbahce are reported to have reached a deal with Serbian international Aleksandar Kolarov of AS Roma, who the Super Lig club will pay a small transfer fee to.

The 33-year-old was in Istanbul this past weekend where he met with club officials.

Another one of Fenerbahce’s expected signings is German midfielder Max Kruse, who recently announced he is leaving Werder Bremen.

Fenerbahce have offered Kruse a three-year contract with an annual salary of €2.5 million. Reports in Turkey are suggesting the 31-year-old has verbally agreed to the terms of the contract.

The Turkish football club are expected to announce their newest transfers in the coming days.
