Iranian youngster completes Fenerbahce move

The 18-year-old striker has inked a five-year deal with the Yellow Canaries.

After reaching a deal with Iranian club Esteghlal for their young striker Allahyar Sayyadmanesh last month, Fenerbahce have completed the transfer of the promising Iranian striker on Monday.

The 18-year-old has officially signed a five-year contract with the Istanbul club, according to the statement released by Fenerbahce.

“Our club have reached an agreement with Iranian striker Allahyar Sayyadmanesh. Fenerbahce have tied the player to our club until season 2023-24. We welcome the young footballer and wish him a successful season,” the statement read.

While giving his first interview to the club’s TV channel, FBTV, the young Iranian forward said he was very happy to have joined such a big club.

“I’m very happy to have come to such a large community and a club with great supporters. I will do everything that I can. I will do anything to win with this club, until the last drop of sweat and blood,” the club’s new signing said.

Sayyadmanesh caught the attention of the Turkish club with his performances while playing for Iranian giants Esteghlal in his native homeland.
