Galatasaray loan Fulham midfielder Seri

The Lions have confirmed the signing of their latest transfer; Ivory coast midfielder Jean Michael Seri.

Turkish football champions Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Fulham for their midfielder Jean Michael Seri.

The Super Lig winners will loan the 27-year-old for one season in exchange for €1.5 million as well as cover his wages which are reported to be €2.8 million per season.

Galatasaray have the option to sign the player permanently for €18 million before June 1, 2020 as per the agreement between the two clubs.

Seri, who join Fulham last year from Nice for €30 million, has accepted Galatasaray’s offer and is reported to be interested in moving to the Istanbul club in order to play Champions League football next season.

Seri steps out of Istanbul Airport on Thursday, July 18.

The Ivory Coast international arrived in Istanbul on Thursday and was welcomed by a group of club supporters and club officials before being taken to the club’s facilities by a private car.

Meanwhile, Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega is also on Galatasaray’s shortlist for the summer transfer window. The Argentinian is wanted by Fatih Terim who has instructed the club’s administration to sign the experienced technical player.
