Fenerbahce in talks with Marseille for Luiz Gustavo

The Yellow Canaries are hoping to strike a deal with the French club for their defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo.

Fenerbahce continue to work on their long-time target; Olympique Marseille’s defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo.

The Turkish club have sent a delegation consisting of club president Ali Koc, sporting director Damien Comolli and several others to convince the French club to part ways with the player.

Koc and Comolli traveled to Marseille today and are expected to meet with the club’s president Jacque-Henri Eyraud to discuss a potential transfer.

Fenerbahce have made signing a central midfielder a top priority this summer and are hoping Koc and his men will return from their trip with a deal for Luiz Gustavo wrapped up.
