Fenerbahce sign Aleksandar Kolarov from AS Roma

The Serbian full-back has agreed to a three-year deal with the Yellow Canaries.

Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce’s negotiations with AS Roma and full-back Aleksandar Kolarov have come to a positive conclusion. After months of back and forth, the Serbian international has agreed to join the Yellow Canaries.

The Istanbul club have paid Italian powerhouse AS Roma €3 million for the player’s transfer while Kolarov will put pen to paper on a three-year contract upon his arrival in Istanbul.

The 33-year-old left-back will earn €2.5 million-per-year during his time with the Turkish football club.

Fenerbahce officials will travel to Rome to pick up and bring their newest transfer via a private plane.

Kolarov lists Lazio, Man City and AS Roma as some of his former clubs.

Last season, the experienced full-back made 33 league appearances for AS Roma during which he scored 8 goals.
