Fenerbahce fail in talks for Stuttgart’s Mangala

The Yellow Canaries have ended their interest in the defensive midfielder after failing to reach a deal with his club.

Fenerbahce have moved on from pursuing VfB Stuttgart midfielder Orel Mangala, the German club’s Sporting Director Sven Mislintat announced on Wednesday.

While confirming the Turkish Super Lig club’s interest, Mislintat also revealed that the two clubs were unable to agree on a deal.

“Fenerbahce’s offer did not meet our expectations and they ended their interest. Mangala will definitely remain with us this season,” he said.

Mangala spent last season on loan with Hamburg where he made 34 appearances.
