Fenerbahce are locked in transfer negotiations with Serie A outfit Brescia for the transfer of their midfielder Miha Zajc.
The Istanbul club, who are yet to make a signing in January due to financial constraints, need to make a sale in order to sign a player as part of their obligations under UEFA’s Financial Fair Play policy.
One of the names widely linked with a departure from Ulker Stadium is attacking midfielder Miha Zajc.
The Slovenia international is currently wanted by Brescia, however, the Italian side are hoping for an initial short-term loan.
Fenerbahce, on the other hand, are pushing for the transfer to include a compulsory purchase clause in exchange for €3.5 million — roughly what they paid for the player’s transfer from FC Empoli in January 2019.
A deal between the two clubs is yet to be reached for Zajc’s transfer as talks are ongoing.
